MORE WHOLE GRAINS FOR THE PEOPLE!

We eat far too little whole grain in Sweden. This is important to change, as increasing the amount of whole grains is the dietary factor that would have the greatest effect on health. Whole grains are mainly found in our four cereals: wheat, rye, barley and oats, but also in rice and corn.

According to the Nordic Nutrition Recommendations (NNR), adults should eat 90 grams of whole grain per day, and we currently eat an average of 42 grams of whole grain per day*. FullkornsFrämjandet's goal is to get the Swedish people to eat more whole grain.
