EAT Lancet 2.0, presented in Stockholm on October 3, 2025, highlights whole grains as a climate-smart source of energy, complex carbohydrates, fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals. A full 210 grams of whole grains per day is recommended. Anna Stubbendorff, a doctoral student at Lund University, believes that we get far too little energy from whole grains, which has major consequences for our health.
